Dekalb, Monroe (Wis), Savanna/Mt Carrol and Sterling/Rockfalls are all within about an hours drive of Forreston. The RT 72 property has had many uses over the years including a drive in root beer stand, a laundermat, a dry cleaners drop off and office, a gift /antique shop and even an arcade. Most recently was a used car operation (in 2009) as it has a paved front area. It is just west of a new subdivision and the large Forrestville School district High School.The family no longer lives in Forreston and to expedite the rental has elected to rent it for only $750 (yes we said $750 a month) a month to a responsible renter signing up for a 2 year rental agreement.(will keep same low rent for responsible, dependable renter when time to renew) Although the building is not that big and will need some repairs/fix up, the roof has already been replaced. If you want to remodel and do additional fixing up, the fanily will even help with some of the preapproved expenses (up to $350 each month for materials and labor) which can be used as a rental credit. IF YOU GO TO MAP-THIS IS THE YELLOW BLDG ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF ROUTE 722nd property: The 3 acre property with a 3 bedroom 2 story home is located within about 10 blocks of the property on the outskirts of Forreston (city water and sewer). The home needs remodeled and fixed up before someone could moved in. Even though it was lived in until just last August/September, the former tenant thought he was a contractor and left much of what he started undone and will need redone/finished. The family would consider renting the home and the acerage on a fix up toward rent with the rent at only $650 a month with as much as $350 rental fix up credit monthly towards the $650 rent for as long as 24 months.
